A reinterpretation of identity, where one create their very own instead of dictation from the mass media. So what better way than to reform one’s own from shredded glossy printed matters? You will find this ironic twist in the latest Nike Sportswear offering, the Premium Print Pack from Women.

Featuring actual recycled magazines, shredded and then reconstituted into 3 forms: Nike Flash Macro Premium in Sail/Birch, Nike Blazer Mid Premium in Sail/Khaki and Nike Air Rift Premium in Sail/Sport Red. Because of the unique process involved, each shoe is one-of-a-kind in pattern sequence. In addition to the usual technical elements, Nike pre-treated each with a clear solution to ensure durability. The Nike Sportswear Women’s Premium Print Pack will be available in limited number at premium retail locations in Europe, China, and others as part of the Nike Sportswear Spring 2011 Collection starting January 1st.
