Got hipped to Cake and Neave a few months ago and instantly became a fan. Upon seeing these (rad) new Iridium designs for Spring/Summer, I jumped back to C&N’s work. Curious if this connection was any part of the inspiration for the folks at Iridium. Regardless, very cool stuff. Lego must be aware that this kind of work goes on (and maybe it has a longer history than I am aware); wonder if there are any rights they choose to forgo in allowing artisans to do this work, or if any formal collaborative projects will eventually arise. They’ve been seriously innovative with the online tools they provide for people to custom build sets, and this seems like another worthwhile avenue to explored. Hope you dig.
