Prints as Trend at London Shows (via WSJ)
“In the past five years, there have been so many prints going on, and it’s kind of amazing because it allows you to express this desire for color,” said Christopher De Vos, one half of the Peter Pilotto label. (via WSJ)

Love the new looks, though it makes me long for another original Alexander McQueen line. His influence seems to be everywhere in these pieces. What makes fashion constantly relevant is its constant push forward. That the designers are already inspired by McQueen and evolving his ideas this well so close to his passing is a phenomenon of this industry. By next year it will have become something completely different. In what other creative discipline can we observe such rapid change?
